Who has access to my résumé?
Only our member companies have access to your résumé. Our technology
customers sometimes act as third party recruiters. Our résumé database
is maintained as a service to CareerBoard job seekers and employers, and
will not be sold to a third party.
Can my current employer view
my resume on the site?
CareerBoard allows you to make your résumé private, therefore
"hiding" all of your contact information. Potential employers
only view your brief description and then can send us an email, which is
then forwarded onto to you. If you are interested in the opportunity it is
your choice to send your résumé directly to the employer. Since the
email is sent through CareerBoard, your contact information is never
revealed to employers unless you authorize its release.

particular interest to you.

job seekers place their résumés within a specific job category. This is

and job seekers.

Notifications?

Notifiers. You have the option to create, edit or delete notifiers within
this option. Choose delete. If you would like to delete your entire

received my résumé?

is received. Following up with an employer after submitting a résumé is
vital to any job search.

on the site?
Yes, changes can be made to your resume at anytime by logging into your
Job Seeker account and choosing the Resume option. We ask you to
update your résumé at least every 9 months. Résumés older than 9
months are automatically deleted from the site, and a notice will be sent

In my job search, what is the best way
to use the keyword function?

When using multiple keywords, separate the words with "AND" or
"OR." Using "AND" will only return jobs that have all
of the keywords while '"OR" will return job postings with just
one of the keywords matching.
