Position Description:
The Home Health Aide will provide personal care, assist with food preparation, assist with exercises and provide other activities of daily living as ordered by the physician. The Home Care assistant may provide hands on personal care, perform simple procedures as an extension of therapy or nursing services, assist in ambulation and/or exercises and assist in administering medications that are ordinarily self administered. Full time and part time employees will work every other weekend and holidays.
Qualifications Required:
High school graduate who has completed training and been certified as a home health aide by the state of Ohio, or will receive 75 hours of supervised training under the direction of and LPN or RN. The home health aide must complete 12 hours of additional training annually. CPR Certification is required with recertification required bi-annually.
