2010 Summer Intern – Financial Support Services
The Accounting department provides services to financial institutions, internal departments, the U.S. Treasury and the Federal Reserve Board of Govenors. Services include: accounting and financial statements, journal and general ledger entries, daily closings, and year-end consolidation.
Responsibilities:
1. Performs expense accounting duties such as daily balancing of current expenses and balance sheet accounts
2. Accounts payable and travel journal entries
3. Budget ad hoc analysis and reporting
4. Completes special projects as assigned
5. Participates in Bank Internship Expo, creating and presenting a display containing information about the intern experience
Requirements:
1. Actively working towards Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
2. Strong PC skills with proficiency in Excel and Word
3. Able to learn accounting software
